Sylvia Group Director of Marketing and Communications Vin Sylvia and his wife, Mary, were fortunate enough to secure two coveted spots in the United Way of Greater New Bedford‘s annual Hunger Heroes program. Mary and Vin spent the afternoon of Nov. 23 assembling food packages for area families’ Thanksgiving meal. All told, the Hunger Heroes assembled 1,000 packages, which the United Way then distributed — many along with turkeys — before the holiday.
