Winterhalter holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and previously served as a Business Development Engineer and Manager. In these roles, he managed relationships with key clients such as BAE Systems, DARPA, NATO Science and Technology Organization, the University of Washington’s Applied Physics Laboratory, and others in commercial and DoD markets. His achievements include identifying strategic opportunities in product markets, spearheading the development of a new commercial market for acoustic sensors in the EV battery space, and successfully navigating complex technical and commercial partnerships to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Additionally, he excelled in developing comprehensive marketing strategies, directing advertising efforts, and showcasing products at international trade shows to drive engagement and capture new business leads. His expertise in market research, project management, and product development aligns perfectly with Alera Group's commitment to excellence and client satisfaction by leveraging his deep knowledge of business development, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions.
